On March 2nd 2009 in Centro de Investigaciones en Optica it took the meeting between the SPIE student chapters in Mexico from INAOE, ITESM (campus Monterrey), ITESM (campus Leon), CIO and PhD. Maria Yzuel. We talked about different topics to increase the activities in Mexico in order to diffuse the Optics. Around 70 students from different chapters attended the meeting.

This event was organized by SPIE-CIO student Chapter, ending at 16:00 hours with the handed acknowledgment over to PhD. Maria Yzuel by PhD. Eric Rosas, president of AMO (Mexican Academy of Optics).
