January 17th 2012, Tuesday.

In this first chapter meeting of the year, we began proposing new ideas about chapter events of the year. We talked about make visits to industries of our city with the aim of expose chapters members research fields and tried to implement solutions with them.

Talking about outreach events, we pretend to make exposition to country schools outside of León, Gto. Also we pretend to build some experiments in our institution to make some workshop for medium and high school students among others.

SPIE Chapter officers wish you a good start into the academic year and we hope you can join us in our future events.
